The Epi-Center of Golf in Wisconsin is the small town of Kohler Wisconsin. Kohler is situated about half way between Milwaukee and Green Bay, but for the manufacturing plant that bares the same name, few people ever heard of Kohler. Then one day one of America's top golf designers decided to imprint his golf course knowledge on the area and the result has been the birth of one of the premier golf destinations in the country.
Designed by the legendary Hall of Fame architect Pete Dye, Kohler's four championship golf courses are all ranked among the best in the United States by many leading golf publications. In addition to the four outstanding courses surrounding the village of Kohler there are now four other equally challenging courses in Wisconsin that have recently earned recognition in Golf Digest's top 100 courses for 2017 and a fifth one that will undoubtedly be included next year.
