In 2010 Myrtle Beach completed the first two mile stretch of its boardwalk, since then it has extended it another mile and more extensions are planned. It has already been recognized as the nation's #3 boardwalk by National Geographic and one of the best US boardwalks by Travel + Leisure magazine.

Myrtle Beach offers a wide variety of lodging options from; beach front hotels and resorts, city center hotels and motels that are close to the heart of the entertainment district, or hundreds of outstanding golf course villas.
The one thing certain is that if you choose the right lodging facility but don't take in to account that the Myrtle Beach area is expansive and stretches for more than sixty-five miles, then your morning commute to your first tee could be a long one.
