Built upon a 900-acre marsh preserve, The Pearl features two of the finest 18-hole golf courses in America, the East course and the West. The Pearl’s East Course is a more traditional style layout with tight rolling fairways carved through the pine forest. It’s 18th hole meander along salt marshes and the Calabash River. The Pearl East’s signature hole is the 396 yard par 4 marsh lined 17th. The east course is a slightly shorter than Pearl West, but no less demanding. Maples has done some of the best work in Myrtle Beach and Pearl East is no exception.Being one of the most sought after courses to play in the area it is certain to be the highlight of your golfing visit to the Grand Strand!
Pearl’s West Course is links-style with lots of open stretches complimented by thick displays of pampas greens. The awesome 18th hole features a dramatic finish along the bluffs overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway. Attention to detail and meticulous grooming characterizes the course which has played host to a number of major tournaments. The West course not only has large varied elevation, water and medium sized greens, it will challenge you with five sets of tee, and over 6700 yards.
