LIONS PAW GOLF LINKS
 

Experience two distinct challenges when playing at Willard Byrd’s Lion’s Paw Golf Links, often referred as Byrd’s finest work. Play through tall hardwoods and endure elevation changes throughout the first dozen holes before journeying into a vast, open area where the coastal breezes challenge even the hardest hit balls. Lion’s Paw Golf Links is an open, hilly course that treats the golfer to spectacular views of a beautiful creek valley and its adjoining wetlands. A wild and untamed layout, Lion’s Paw features deep sugar white sand bunkers and bent grass greens.
 

TIGERS EYE
 

The $10 million Tiger’s Eye is the third in the Big Cats series with Tim Cate’s newest creation that offers 18 unforgettable signature holes. This wild new cat will be tough to tame with 60-foot elevation changes. The undulating state-of-the-art Tifsport Bermuda grass fairways twist and turn up and down presenting you with a variety of lies along scenic water features.
 

The large, notoriously slick G-2 bentgrass greens require a cautious putting game. Plus, there are 40 acres of wild flowers, lakes, a par-3 island and even a waterfall. Tigers Eye also has scenic water features that adds to the beauty of the course but also provide challenges as well.
 

PANTHERS RUN
 

The Panthers’ Run Golf Links was born to be a different kind of challenge. Tim Cate has designed this marvelous cat to prowl along the edge of a nature preserve and continually test your ability to stay out of the surrounding marshland. Wide fairways that twist and turn, plus scenic water features blend together perfectly to create one of the most visually interesting courses in the Carolinas. Golf For Women magazine called Panthers’ Run one of the “Top 100 Fairways for 2000.”
 

LEOPARDS CHASE
 

Named By Golf Digest and GOLF Magazine as one of the Top 10 New Public Courses in America for 2007, Leopard’s Chase Golf Club at Ocean Ridge Plantation is the fourth Big Cat in the family of felines. This par 72 course designed by Tim Cate is as scenic as it is enjoyable to play. You will encounter forced carries, some generous landing areas and dramatic elevation changes.
 

As you travel the 18 holes, you will also notice a varied terrain accompanied by stunning natural vistas. The tee positions will accommodate all levels of play with equal risk and reward situations to allow you the best scoring opportunities. Save your delicate touch shots for the undulating greens. The waterfall along #18 green will calm and relax you as you finish your round.
