Wisconsin
It should come as no surprise that in the span of just ten years, Wisconsin golf has grown from a place that could not support a PGA tournament to the destination for some of America and the World’s top golf tournaments including; the 2004 PGA Championship, the 2005 Palmer Cup, the 2007 US Senior Open, the 2010 PGA Championship, and in 2015 the PGA Championship returns, along with the US Open in 2017, and finally the crowning jewel, the Ryder Cup in 2020.
The Epi-Center of Golf in Wisconsin is the small town of Kohler Wisconsin. Kohler is situated about half way between Milwaukee and Green Bay, but for the manufacturing plant that bares the same name, few people ever heard of Kohler. Then one day one of America’s top golf designers decided to imprint his golf course knowledge on the area and the result has been the birth of one of the premier golf destinations in the country.
