River Oaks

The 27 beautiful holes of River Oaks Golf Plantation are located on the site of a former nature preserve. The three nine-hole courses feature recently renovated undulating Champion Ultradwarf greens and tree-lined fairways. This facility has three nines, the Bear, Fox and Otter. The first two nines, Fox and Otter, were designed by Gene Hamm, while the easier Bear Course is a product of Tom Jackson. The three nines are quite similar in design in that each feature tree-lined, mounded fairways and undulating bermuda greens.

The quiet and seclusion make it hard to believe that just a short drive over the inter-coastal Waterway Bridge brings you to a golfer’s sanctuary, where mornings are spent chasing birdies and afternoons are spent in search of eagles.
