The course itself will force you to use every club in your bag and the wide fairways instill confidence for the meek and forgiveness for the bold. Black Bear Golf Club is a classic parkland course completely engulfed by nature. The Beast, having recently sharpened its claws, may look intimidating with it’s 23 finger lakes, but the wide fairways and smooth Champion greens make it golf as it was meant to be… peaceful, beautiful and playable.
 

Reknowned architect, Tom Jackson,designed the par 72 with four sets of tees providing levels of play to challenge all types of golfers. Fifteen out of 18 holes offer water hazards and watch out for the tees on the back nine, marshes surround you on several holes. Holes #18 is an excellent hole that meanders through the marshes. The only way to enter this scenic golf course is by way of a covered bridge. You can look forward to at least three championship caliber holes. The signature 16 th hole is a 203 yard par 3,which has water on the right side of the fairway and a sand bunker on the green.
