Arrowhead Country Club
Arrowhead Country Club is Myrtle Beach’s Premier 27-Hole Golf Complex, with a canvas of Bermuda Fairways and Bent Grass Greens, the team of Ray Floyd and Tom Jackson have created a masterpiece along the scenic Intracoastal Waterway.
Working closely with architect Tom Jackson, Ray Floyd has designed one of the most unique and challenging courses in the Carolinas in 1994. Floyd who’s influence was predominantly around the greens, gives each golfer a unique challenge, with the feel of a course set in the foot-hills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Arrowhead may not be know to many golfers but it’s excellent conditions, friendly and knowledgeable staff and challenging 27 holes course, makes for a perfect choice for an entire day of golf.
This club has three nine hole golf courses that are played in three eighteen hole combinations. All three traditionally-designed golf courses have many elevation changes. The fairways are contoured, fairly narrow, and feature well-placed sand bunkers. There are a lot of trees lining the fairways, and the undulating terrain gives you the impression you are playing a North Carolina mountain golf course.
