Aberdeen Country Club
The logo of Aberdeen Country Club is reflective of the “Scottish” feel you’ll experience at Aberdeen. It is a combination of the shield from the Scottish flag, the crown of Scotland, and the mythical Unicorn that in Scottish folklore was wild and untamable, but at times was the bringer of good luck!
This is one of Tom Jackson’s premiere 27 hole facilities in the Myrtle Beach Golf Course area. Aberdeen is a Scottish Style Course located in North Myrtle Beach off Hwy 9. The 3 nines – “Meadows”, “Highlands”, and “Woodlands, each presents a different challenge to golfers. They are all tucked along a protected riverfront preserve, brimming with wildlife and fertile fairways.
These very demanding courses present golfers with seasonal water hazards that make accuracy and precise shot placement a must at Aberdeen Country Club, this course is not for golfers who do not like water. Almost every hole has water on it in some area. Aberdeen will take you into the game of golf in the true “Scottish” tradition. Tucked among towering hardwoods and the beautiful Waccamaw River, this course features extensive mounding, wide landing areas, & bent grass greens.
Formally known as “Buck Creek,” was nominated by Golf Digest as “America’s Best New Course for 1990.” In 1998 the renamed “Aberdeen” was the only recipient in the Carolina’s to receive Golf Digest medallions for value and service.
